Welcome to the South Wolds Partnership
The South Wolds Partnership has 25 churches in the Horncastle, Asterby and Hemingby Group. We are situated in the southern part of the Lincolnshire Wolds; in an area colloquially know as the ‘Golden Triangle', bounding Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle. All our churches are listed buildings and in varying degrees of need; but all are loved and beautiful.
The South Wolds is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Lincolnshire Wolds is a limestone ridge which forms the highest ground in Eastern England between Yorkshire and Kent and offers extensive views and spectacular skies.
The Wolds area also offers some of the best walking and cycling countryside around, with a labyrinth of quiet lanes, bridle ways and footpaths. As this corner of Lincolnshire is one of the driest and sunniest parts of the country there is always plenty of opportunity to get out there!
