Fulletby sits astride the Lincolnshire Wolds commanding the county's best views. In the heart of the village – beside The Viking Way – nestles the Victorian, greenstone church of St Andrew, continuously cared-for, un-pretentious in essence but boasting relics from an earlier church; a 14th Century decorated two-seater Sedilia and a memorial tablet to the mysterious Richardi-Du-Gard. The contribution of Fulletby Victorians – Henry and Richard Winn – is evident throughout church, churchyard, village and written archive to this day. And, most tellingly perhaps, St Andrews names not only those who fell but honours also those whom The Great War spared.
