FORTHCOMING EVENTS IN THIMBLEBY

Guided Walk around historic Thimbleby.
Meet outside St Margaret's Church for a guided walk around the historic village of Thimbleby with churchwarden Bob Wayne. The walk will take in the Grade II listed Church and Village Hall, the old village pump, 16th Century Mud & Stud Cottages and other interesting features of the village.

Saturday 21st September 2019, 10am - 3pm, (corner paddock opposite St Margaret's Church)
Come along to Thimbleby village and celebrate its array of heritage crafts, from mud and stud cottages to thatched roofs to red brick village halls to beautiful stained glassed windows.
Meet and watch demonstrators including woodworker Rob Ley who will be showcasing the mud and stud process. Historic potters, Jim and Emma Newboult will be on their purley hand driven oak potter's wheel and food historian Sadie Hurst will be making bread, butter and sugar rose crafts which children can have a go at.
Visit the church and see its recent restoration and find out more about the village of Thimbleby. There will also be tasty refreshments and children's craft activities.
